Growth opportunities Casual work attire On-the-job training We are looking for a highly organized car dealership office manager to lead our daily operations.
In this multifaceted full-time role, you'll be in charge of overseeing office operations, streamlining systems, and ensuring office staff and processes maintain efficiency.
The ideal candidate is a meticulous professional with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to Lead office processes and staff, including day-to-day operations, in collaboration with the business manager, general manager and other store managers' needs Prepares a complete financial statement monthly according to dealership guidelines and the manufacturer's format and time frame.
Prints monthly journals, schedules, and general ledger.
Closes month by processing accounting month-end.
Interprets and analyzes the financial statement continually.
Maintains an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets Maintains an effective cash management system.
Forecasts cash needs.
Manages the payoff of vehicle floor plan and works with bank representatives.
Assists in completion of annual review/audit with CPA Supervise accounting operations, accounting close, reporting and all schedule reconciliations.
Weekly detail schedule & balance sheet reviews Outstanding CIT follow up with Contract Clerk & F&I Desk Standard entries-prepaids and accruals Manage multiple bank & credit card reconciliations Review tech payroll posting and unapplied Post reserves and chargebacks from banks and clear Communicates across all teams Establish, manage, and train office staff.
Ensure daily, weekly, & month end tasks are covered Ensure all store financial transactions are processed accurately and timely in accordance with company policy Reconciliation of general ledger accounts to ensure proper bank reconciliation, reserve accounts, factory, payable, and floor plan payable.
Reconciliation of all schedules Process all Payroll including hourly, salary, & commission employees Responsible for all HR Make sure dealership accounting office and auto finance policies are adhered to and reflect our company's high standards.
Responsible for company-wide compliance for privacy and sales, service, F&I and parts departments.
Performs other duties as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
) from four-year college or university; with a focus in accounting or three to six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least Four years of experience in accounting at an automobile dealership required.
Two years of experience in office management is required - automobile dealership experience is strongly preferred Excellent time management, problem-solving, knowledge of the automotive industry, and communication skills are needed Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a deadline oriented environment which requires above average organization skills and attention to detail Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products.
